This is a full-time 6 days a week on-site role located in Dubai, UAE.Responsibilities This is a full-time on-site role located in Dubai for a Senior Contracts and Commercial Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing all commercial and contractual activities for residential project. You will lead a team and collaborate closely with Resident Engineers, Client representatives and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to manage all contractual and commercial matters on FIDIC 1999 based Contract. Your role will involve the following keys duties and responsibilities: Review and prepare contractual correspondences Ensure proper contractual and commercial procedures are followed Manage the consultation, evaluation and determination process Manage the commercial teams who are reviewing Contractor's IPA, valuing work done, measuring quantities and IPC Managing the variation process under FIDIC based contracts Managing the claim process under FIDIC based contracts Chairing Commercial and Contractual meetings Managing and monitoring project budget Managing and supporting procurement activities Identify Risks that may affect cost and contractual exposure Support in avoiding disputing and ensuring proper administration Final Account Management and associated procedures Any other relevant commercial and contractual support tasks that may be required Technical Competencies:Extensive experience in commercial and contractual management Strong knowledge of FIDIC 1999 and contract law Proven experience in managing large-scale projects and project budgets Excellent leadership and team management skills Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry is a must Qualifications Bachelor in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying Master’s Degree in Construction Management is a plus15+ years of overall experience7+ Years in large scale residential projects Advanced knowledge of Contract Administration and Commercial Management MRICS credentials are preferred
