Core project delivery skills: ability to support end-to-end MEP and fit-out execution from planning through site delivery, testing/commissioning support, and handover, with a practical understanding of how work gets built on active sites.
Site coordination and stakeholder management: confident day-to-day coordination with main contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers; ability to keep multiple parties aligned, unblock issues fast, and maintain progress without constant escalation.
Project documentation control: strong handling of RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, material approvals, site instructions, method statements, ITPs, as-builts, and close-out packs, with disciplined tracking so nothing slips.
Interface management across trades: ability to coordinate MEP, fit-out, and civil/interface activities, spot clashes early, reduce rework, and keep sequencing clean.
QA/QC execution support: comfortable supporting inspections, snagging, punch lists, and close-out; detail-oriented approach to quality and finishing standards typical of fit-out projects.
HSE awareness on site: solid understanding of site safety basics, compliance mindset, and ability to work within HSE systems (permits, toolbox talks, inspections) while maintaining productivity.
Reporting and controls: ability to produce clear weekly progress reports, maintain risks/issues logs, track actions, and support milestone tracking with a structured, evidence-based approach.
Organisation and proactivity: strong personal organisation, follow-through, and ownership; able to manage multiple moving parts, prioritise tasks, and stay effective in a fast-paced site environment.
