Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust APIs using WebMethods, ensuring seamless integration across diverse systems.
• Implement and maintain API security measures, including authentication, authorization, and encryption protocols, to protect sensitive data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define API specifications, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues, providing timely and effective solutions to minimize disruptions.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and integration solutions using IBM webMethods suite (API Gateway, Integration Server, Universal Messaging, etc.).

• Build REST and SOAP APIs, API policies, security layers, and versioning strategies.

• Develop custom services and flows using webMethods Designer (Flow and Java services).

• Configure and manage the webMethods API Gateway, including security, throttling, logging, and analytics.

• Implement data transformations using webMethods Transformations and XSLT/XSD.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across integration flows, connectors, and endpoints.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for webMethods using tools like Jenkins, Git, or Bitbucket.

• Monitor and optimize API performance and provide post-deployment support.

• Ensure solutions follow industry best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability.
