Roles & Responsibilities
Administer, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL,Ubuntu etc) in physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
Familiarity with virtualization (VMware/KVM) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Conduct vulnerability assessments, Patching ,Hardening and remediation in coordination with cybersecurity teams
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
Perform advanced kernel tuning, performance optimization, and capacity planning.
Automate routine tasks using shell scripting , Ansible or any other automation tool
Collaborate with application, database, and network teams to support business-critical systems.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and post-incident reviews for critical system outages.
Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
Provide 24x7 on-call support as part of a rotation schedule.
Desired Candidate Profile
Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in technical principles.
Holds relevant certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, or LPIC, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and expertise.
Has 10+ years of experience as a Linux Administrator, showcasing practical knowledge and the ability to handle real-world challenges.
Demonstrates strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python, enabling automation and efficient system management.
