About the role
Our client, a leader in the FMCG industry, is seeking a General Manager to join their team. As a General Manager, you will report directly to the CEO. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, working across regions and managing multi-geography teams which will align successfully in the organization.
About the requirements
- Define and own the long term technology vision aligned with business growth and super app ambitions
- Partner with product and business leaders to translate ideas into clear, executable digital roadmaps
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of digital products, from concept through launch and scale
- Ensure platforms are reliable, secure, and scalable while delivering excellent user experiences
- Build, mentor, and lead high performing engineering teams and collaborate with external partners where required
About you
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or executive education is an advantage)
- 15–18 years of progressive experience in technology leadership roles
- Proven track record of building and scaling consumer digital products to large user bases, preferably within fintech, e-commerce, marketplaces, or consumer internet
