Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Specialist Gastroenterologist to join our growing HealthHub Clinic network in Dubai.
This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, specialist-level gastroenterology care, supporting the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of digestive system disorders, while ensuring a patient-centred and evidence-based approach to care.
Role Overview
This is a multi-site outpatient (OPD) role across our HealthHub Clinics in Dubai.
You will work within a multidisciplinary clinical environment, managing a diverse mix of cases while contributing to service development and patient pathway optimisation.
The role is well suited for a Specialist Gastroenterologist with strong OPD and procedural experience, who is comfortable managing both routine and complex cases within a dynamic clinic network.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive specialist gastroenterology care in line with best practice guidelines and regulatory standards
Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal, liver, and digestive disorders
Perform endoscopic procedures and relevant diagnostic interventions
Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic investigations
Develop and manage personalised treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions
Provide expert clinical opinions and take independent responsibility for patient care
Collaborate with primary care physicians, surgeons, and allied health professionals to optimise outcomes
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental development
Support medical education and ongoing professional development activities
Promote patient education, preventive care, and long-term disease management
Skills
Candidate Profile
DHA Licensed or DHA Eligible Specialist Gastroenterologist
Minimum 5+ years of experience at Specialist level post-qualification
Strong experience in outpatient (OPD) and procedural gastroenterology
Comfortable working across multiple clinic locations
Excellent communication and patient engagement skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
Patient-focused, ethical, and quality-driven in clinical practice
Arabic language skills are an advantage
Qualifications and Experience
MBBS / MBChB or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution
Completed specialty qualification recognised by DHA / HAAD / MOH
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS is an advantage
Proven competence across all aspects of gastroenterology including procedural work
Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
