Roles & Responsibilities
- Source and procure high-quality parts from approved vendors, ensuring competitive pricing and timely delivery to meet production schedules.
- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to optimize cost savings and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels by forecasting demand, monitoring stock, and implementing replenishment strategies to prevent stockouts and minimize excess.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand technical specifications and ensure the procurement of compliant and suitable parts.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in parts procurement, preferably within the automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing industries.
- Proficiency in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills with a track record of achieving cost reductions.
