Roles & Responsibilities


We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer to join our growing team for infrastructure, road, pipeline, and civil construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs to ensure compliance with UAE regulations, client requirements, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and site safety plans.

  • Conduct daily site inspections and identify potential hazards.

  • Monitor compliance with Abu Dhabi Municipality, ADNOC, OSHAD, and client HSE requirements (where applicable).

  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training.

  • Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, and prepare detailed reports.

  • Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices across construction and transportation operations.

  • Monitor excavation, lifting, confined space, traffic management, and heavy equipment activities.

  • Coordinate emergency response drills and preparedness activities.

  • Maintain HSE records, reports, permits, and compliance documentation.

  • Liaise with project management, consultants, clients, and regulatory authorities on safety matters.

  • Support continuous improvement of safety performance and culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.

  • NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory).

  • IOSH certification preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in:

    • Infrastructure Projects

    • Roads & Highways

    • Pipeline Projects

    • Earthworks & Excavation

    • Heavy Equipment Operations

    • Civil Construction

  • Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and industry best practices.

  • Experience in risk assessments, method statements, and permit-to-work systems.

  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and HSE documentation.

  • Valid UAE Driving License preferred.

  • Immediate joiners will be given preference.

Desired Candidate Profile
