Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose various ocular conditions and diseases, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Perform surgical procedures such as cataract extractions, LASIK, and retinal repairs with precision and expertise to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients, taking into account their medical history, lifestyle, and preferences to enhance patient engagement.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including optometrists and nurses, to provide seamless patient care and optimize treatment efficacy.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with specialized training in ophthalmology is required.
- Board certification in ophthalmology, confirming expertise and adherence to industry standards.
- A minimum of 5 years of post-residency experience in a clinical or surgical setting is preferred.
- Proven experience in advanced surgical techniques, particularly in cataract and refractive surgeries.
