Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the technical function for Interior Design and Finishes across multiple

projects

• Oversee the full design development process from concept through execution, ensuring

alignment with project requirements and client vision

• Ensure all ID drawings, specifications, and materials comply with Employer’s Requirements.

methodologies

• Support commercial teams with cost inputs, material selections, and alternative design

solutions

• Ensure completion of all technical documentation, certifications, warranties, and project

close-out deliverables

• Lead, mentor, and develop technical teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

and design excellence

• Capture and implement lessons learned across projects to improve processes and

performance

• Conduct regular reviews of project teams to monitor progress, performance, and compliance

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or architecture.

• 20+ years of experience in the construction industry, with strong exposure to Interior Design and high-end finishes

• Minimum 7+ years in a senior leadership role managing technical teams

• Proven experience in high-rise towers, large-scale developments, residential villas, and full project lifecycle delivery

• Strong expertise in Interior Design coordination, fit-out execution, materials selection, and finishing techniques

• Thorough knowledge of UAE regulations, including Dubai Municipality (DM), DEWA, and Civil

  defence requirements

• Demonstrated experience in managing consultants, leading design development, and

  obtaining authority approvals

• Strong commercial awareness with hands-on experience in value engineering across

  structure, façade, finishes, MEP, specialized systems, and fit-out works

• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills

• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities

• Ability to balance design intent with cost efficiency, quality standards, and project timelines
