Role Summary

Responsible for preparing and coordinating electrical shop drawings, layouts, and as-built drawings for MEP projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and construction requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical shop drawings, layouts, SLDs, lighting, containment, and panel schedules.

• Review electrical drawings, BOQs, and specifications for accuracy.

• Coordinate with MEP disciplines to ensure clash-free drawings.

• Incorporate design changes, RFIs, and site instructions into drawings.

• Maintain drawing documentation, revisions, and version control.

• Support site teams and ensure drawings reflect actual installation requirements.

• Ensure compliance with DEWA, Civil Defence, Dubai Municipality, and project standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or related field.

• 3–5 years of UAE experience as an MEP Electrical Drafter.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit MEP knowledge is an advantage.

• Experience in power, lighting, containment, and low-current systems.

• Familiarity with construction or fit-out project environments.

• Strong coordination, communication, and attention to detail.
