# Lead Functional Finance Consultant – Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O

## About the Company
We are a large international trading company with operations across the GCC, China, Turkey, and other countries. At the core of our digital landscape is an ERP platform based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
We are seeking an experienced Lead Functional Finance Consultant to take ownership of the functional quality of the Finance domain within D365 F&O, ensure the effective use of standard system capabilities, and drive the development of a single global finance template across the organization.
## Key Responsibilities
* Lead the functional Finance stream within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.* Analyze business requirements and conduct fit-gap assessments.* Design and optimize finance processes, including As-Is and To-Be process mapping.* Configure and support core Finance modules within D365 F&O.* Prepare functional design documents and business requirements specifications.* Collaborate with Finance teams, accountants, controllers, analysts, developers, and external vendors.* Ensure alignment between business requirements and system capabilities.* Support ERP implementation, enhancement, and rollout projects.* Contribute to the development and governance of a global finance template.* Participate in testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and go-live activities.* Work closely with IT and business stakeholders across multiple countries.
## Required Experience
* Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.* Proven experience as a Functional Consultant, Senior Consultant, or Lead Consultant.* Deep knowledge of the following Finance modules:
* General Ledger* Accounts Payable* Accounts Receivable* Cost Management* Budgeting and Budget Control* Tax Management* Electronic Reporting (ER/E-Reports)* Experience conducting fit-gap analysis and business process design.* Experience preparing functional specifications and solution documentation.* Understanding of D365 F&O integrations with banks, tax systems, BI/DWH platforms, and third-party solutions.* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.* Fluent English and Russian language skills.
## Nice to Have
* Experience with international D365 F&O rollout projects.* Experience within trading, FMCG, distribution, retail, or logistics industries.* Experience working with multiple legal entities and international organizations.* Experience implementing D365 F&O across GCC, Turkey, China, or other international jurisdictions.* Experience with:
* Inventory costing and inventory closing* Cost Management* Budgeting and Budget Control* VAT/GST and withholding tax processes* Electronic Reporting (ER)* Bank integrations and payment processing* E-invoicing and statutory reporting* Power BI, Data Warehouse, and reporting requirements* Understanding of global template and local rollout methodologies.* Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications.
