MEP Procurement Engineer Responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and procuring mechanical, electrical, and plumbing materials, equipment, and subcontract packages in line with project specifications, budget, and timelines. Coordinates with project, design, and site teams to ensure timely delivery, cost optimization, and compliance with technical and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:Review MEP drawings, BOQs, and specifications for procurement requirements Source suppliers and subcontractors, obtain quotations, and conduct technical/commercial evaluations Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules Prepare purchase orders and subcontract agreements Ensure materials comply with project specifications and consultant approvals Track deliveries and coordinate with site teams to avoid delays Maintain procurement logs and vendor databases Support cost-saving initiatives and value engineering Monitor market trends, lead times, and supplier performance
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering4–8 years of procurement experience in MEP/Construction Strong knowledge of MEP materials, suppliers, and local UAE market Familiarity with BOQ, contracts, and technical submittals Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
