Job Summary
The IVF Head Nurse Manager is responsible for leading and supervising nursing operations within the IVF and Reproductive Medicine Department, ensuring high-quality patient care, effective treatment coordination, regulatory compliance, staff development, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the nursing team and daily department operations.
Coordinate IVF, IUI, embryo transfer, egg retrieval, and related fertility treatments.
Educate and support patients throughout their treatment journey.
Ensure accurate patient follow-up, appointment scheduling, and treatment coordination.
Oversee infection control, CSSD activities, and medication management.
Maintain nursing protocols, documentation, and patient records.
Manage nursing staff training, CME requirements, BLS certification, and performance development.
Monitor inventory, consumables, equipment maintenance, and departmental budget requirements.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, quality standards, and patient safety requirements.
Collaborate with physicians, embryologists, geneticists, insurance, and administrative departments.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education
Experience
Minimum 8 years of experience in Reproductive Medicine, Fertility, or IVF services.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience in an IVF/Fertility setting.
