Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive HSE policies and procedures tailored to the specific industry and site operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions to prevent accidents and incidents.
- Investigate all workplace accidents, near misses, and occupational health issues, determining root causes and implementing preventative measures to avoid recurrence.
- Develop and deliver engaging HSE training programs for all employees, contractors, and visitors, fostering a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Possession of professional certifications such as NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC), CSP, CIH, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in HSE management within the construction, oil & gas, manufacturing, or a similar heavy industry.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply national and international HSE legislation and standards.
