We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a high-performing finance team based in DIFC, Dubai. This role will support financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day finance operations while contributing to system improvements and finance transformation initiatives.

Description
· Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records, including general ledger reconciliations
· Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely financial reporting
· Produce monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis
· Perform bank reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments schedules
· Manage accounts payable and receivable activities, including aged receivables tracking
· Process bank payments, supplier invoices, and employee expense reimbursements
· Assist with preparation and submission of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax filings
· Support external audit processes, including coordination and documentation
· Maintain and enhance internal financial controls and process documentation
· Contribute to ERP implementation projects, including testing and post-implementation support
· Liaise with internal teams, banks, and external service providers to support finance operations
· Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting support as required
· Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
Profile
· Candidates must be currently based in the UAE
· 3-6 years of accounting experience, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment
· Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge
· Experience with MS Dynamics systems is mandatory
· Exposure to VAT, UAE Corporate Tax, and audit processes is advantageous
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
· Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CPA, either completed or in progress
· Advanced Excel skills
· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
· Proactive and hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
