Role Description The Structure Design Engineer will work in office a full-time capacity, contributing to the design and analysis of structural systems for building and infrastructure projects. Daily responsibilities include developing structural concepts, performing calculations, preparing detailed design drawings and models, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated solutions. The role involves using CAD and other engineering software to create, review, and revise design documentation in line with project specifications, codes, and standards. The Structure Design Engineer will participate in design reviews, support the preparation of technical reports, and assist in resolving design-related queries during construction. The position also requires close collaboration with project managers, architects, and other engineers to meet project timelines, quality requirements, and client expectations. Qualifications Strong foundation in Design Engineering and Product Design, with the ability to develop safe, efficient, and buildable structural solutions. Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles relevant to structural systems, including load paths, materials behavior, and structural integrity. Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D drawings and 3D modeling, and the ability to produce clear, accurate design documentation. Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Engineering Familiarity with applicable international and regional building codes, standards, and best practices. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders. Previous experience in structural design for buildings or infrastructure in a consultancy or engineering environment, ideally within the Middle East, is preferred.
