Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and implement efficient irrigation systems tailored to specific crop needs and local conditions, ensuring maximum water conservation.
- Conduct thorough site assessments to evaluate soil moisture levels, topography, and existing water resources for optimal system planning.
- Utilize advanced software for modeling and simulating irrigation designs, providing data-driven solutions for improved agricultural productivity.
- Collaborate with agronomists and farmers to understand crop requirements and integrate irrigation plans that enhance yields and sustainability.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on water resources management.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in irrigation design and implementation, preferably in agricultural or landscape settings.
- Professional certification in irrigation design or management, such as Certified Irrigation Designer (CID) or similar qualifications.
- Experience with geographic information systems (GIS) and hydraulic modeling software to enhance design accuracy and effectiveness.
