Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and submit DEWA drawings, load schedules, and documentation for electrical approvals and new connections.
Design and review electrical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and DEWA engineers to ensure regulatory compliance.
Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of LV systems, MDBs, SMDBs, lighting, and power distribution networks.
Prepare technical submittals, material approvals, and progress reports.
Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues effectively.
Support procurement by reviewing and approving technical specifications.
Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
Review electrical shop drawings, single-line diagrams, and as-built drawings.
Ensure compliance with DEWA regulations, UAE codes, and project specifications.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other MEP disciplines.
Authority
Supervise electrical supervisors, foremen, and electricians.
Recommend manpower and material requirements.
Coordinate with other MEP disciplines for smooth execution.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in MEP contracting.
Valid DEWA Approved Electrical Engineer certification.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
Knowledge of DEWA regulations and UAE standards.
