Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barista-Tagalog Speaker role based in Dubai. The Barista will prepare and serve high-quality hot and cold beverages, including coffee and tea, following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines. Daily responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, handling payments, and ensuring a welcoming environment for a diverse customer base, with a particular focus on Tagalog-speaking customers. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, and seating areas in line with hygiene and safety standards. The Barista will also manage stock levels, assist with basic food preparation, and support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations and consistent service.
Qualifications
Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create a welcoming, respectful, and efficient guest experience. Hands-on Barista and Food Preparation skills, including operating coffee machines, preparing beverages, and handling light snacks safely. Effective Communication skills, with the ability to speak Tagalog fluently and communicate clearly in English; additional languages are an advantage. Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, or hospitality environment is preferred, with familiarity in cash handling and POS systems. Ability to work on-site in Dubai on a full-time basis, including shifts, weekends, and holidays as required. Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene standards; relevant certifications are a plus. Reliable, punctual, and able to stand for extended periods and handle a fast-paced environment.
