Role Overview A private family based in Dubai is seeking an exceptional full-time Governess / Home Educator to support the education and personal development of two girls, aged 10 and 13. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and overseeing a UK curriculum homeschooling programme, while also supporting the children’s confidence, independence, organisation, academic progress and overall intellectual development. This is a long-term position for a professional, warm and highly organised educator who can create structure, inspire learning and act as a positive role model within the household

Key Responsibilities Deliver daily lessons based on the UK National Curriculum. Plan, structure and manage a clear educational programme for both children. Support learning across core subjects, especially English and Mathematics. Monitor academic progress and provide regular feedback to the family. Encourage reading, critical thinking, independent learning and curiosity. Help the children develop strong study habits, time management and personal organisation. Prepare the children for future academic pathways, including IGCSE readiness where relevant. Coordinate with specialist tutors or external education providers when required. Support personal development, confidence and positive behaviour. Accompany the family on occasional travel and maintain educational continuit
y. Requirements Female candidate. Native or near-native English speaker. Degree educated. Teaching qualification preferred. Minimum 5 years of teaching experience. Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum. Experience teaching children aged 10–14. Strong ability to teach English and Mathematics. Valid driving licence.
