• Analyze market trends to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities for alignment with company goals.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the overall business objectives and operational needs.
• Manage supplier performance through regular evaluations and assessments to ensure timely delivery and compliance with contracts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance and production, to forecast purchasing needs based on demand and inventory levels.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data to provide insights for future purchasing decisions.
• Resolve any supply chain disruptions or discrepancies in a prompt manner to minimize impact on operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations regarding procurement practices.
• Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new suppliers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and long-term partnerships.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is essential.
• A minimum of 5 years of procurement experience in a fast-paced industry, with a proven track record of cost savings.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are preferred.
• Experience in a specific industry, such as manufacturing or retail, to bring relevant insights and relationships to the role.
• Fluency in English is required, with additional language skills being a significant advantage for international dealings.
• Strong analytical skills to effectively assess supplier proposals and market conditions.
• Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and manage supplier relationships effectively.
