Key Responsibilities
Design end-to-end user journeys for Open Finance products including consent flows, account aggregation, payment initiation, and data sharing experiences. Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for web and mobile platforms. Translate complex financial and regulatory requirements into simple, intuitive user experiences. Design experiences for multi-stakeholder ecosystems (banks, fintechs, TPPs, corporates, developers). Open Finance & Regulatory Alignment Design compliant UX aligned with Open Finance / Open Banking standards, consent models, and data privacy requirements. Ensure UX aligns with local and international regulations (e.g.,UAE Open Finance frameworks, DIFC, GDPR-style consent principles). Partner with compliance and legal teams to ensure transparent consent, data usage clarity, and trust-driven design.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with product owners, engineering teams, API architects, and business stakeholders. Collaborate with external partners and fintechs to ensure consistent experiences across integrated platforms. Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and usability testing sessions. Conduct user research, usability testing, and design validation to continuously improve experiences. Analyze user behavior and feedback to refine journeys and improve adoption. Contribute to and maintain design systems and UI librariesaligned with brand and platform standards. Ensure consistency across multiple Open Finance touchpoints and products.
Required Skills & Experience Must-Have
5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in banking,fintech, or financial services. Hands-on experience designing Open Banking / Open Finance or API-driven platforms. Strong portfolio showcasing complex workflows, data-heavdashboards, and consent-based journeys. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, orsimilar. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles,interaction design, and information architecture. Experience working with Open Finance APIs, developer portals, or partner ecosystems. Knowledge of payments, corporate banking, treasury, or financial data products. Familiarity with UAE / GCC financial regulations or global Open Banking standards.
