Role Description The Facilities Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Sharjah, with some flexibility to work from home. This role oversees the day-to-day operation, safety, and maintenance of sports and office facilities, ensuring that all spaces are clean, functional, and compliant with relevant regulations. Key responsibilities include coordinating maintenance and repairs, managing vendor relationships, supervising facility staff and contractors, and overseeing inventory of equipment and supplies. The Facilities Manager will monitor budgets, support event setup and logistics, implement health and safety procedures, and propose improvements to enhance the experience of visitors and employees. Collaboration with operations, events, and management teams is essential to align facility management with Neverest Romania’s performance-driven environment.
Qualifications
Strong facilities management skills, including planning, coordination of maintenance, and oversight of building systems. Experience managing vendor and contractor relationships, including negotiating service agreements and monitoring performance. Knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory compliance, preferably within sports, recreation, or hospitality environments. Proficient in using office software and facility management tools for scheduling, reporting, and tracking maintenance activities. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide on-site staff. Previous experience in facilities management or operations; experience with sports or event venues is an advantage. Relevant education such as a diploma or degree in facilities management, engineering, operations, or a related field is preferred. Ability to work on-site in Sharjah in a hybrid arrangement and adapt to a dynamic, physically active environment.
