About the Role
The Account Manager will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, developing new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth through strategic client engagement and solution-based selling. The role requires strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work closely with pre-sales and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions.
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end sales cycles from lead generation to deal closure Build and maintain a strong pipeline of corporate and institutional clients Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market presence Work closely with pre-sales and technical teams to deliver client solutions Identify new business opportunities across corporate, government, banking, and healthcare sectors Maintain strong client relationships and ensure long-term account growth Contribute to product positioning and market feedback for continuous improvement Consistently convert leads into active accounts and grow existing customer accounts using outbound lead-generation techniques Execute sales strategies developed with senior management Drive growth initiatives to exceed customer expectations and build long-term partnerships Achieve defined sales and margin targets Act as the face of the business within the education and EdTech market Build strategic partnerships with third-party vendors to resell and distribute products and services Present and deliver product demonstrations to potential cl Manage contract negotiations and awarding processes with clients Own invoicing and payment collection processes with customers Collaborate with pre-sales teams on proposals to ensure alignment with customer requirements and budgets Prepare opportunity pricing and costing sheets for each deal Coordinate internally with Procurement, Finance, Legal, Practice Heads, and Sales Coordinators Maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and distributors externally
Qualifications
Bachelor of Computer Science or relevant degree Overall experience of 10 years with a minimum of 5 years in sales/business development Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Prior sales experience in the market with strong customer connections Prior experience acquiring and working with potential partners to expand reach Strong experience closing deals with large enterprises and governmental clients (B2G) Comfortable holding high-level technical discussions with customers Basic software engineering background and general technology awareness Past account management experience exceeding quota and meeting KPIsDemonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus
