Role Description The Video Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for operating Media Servers and Switchers during live events and streams, ensuring high-quality visuals that align with the production plan. Day-to-day tasks include setting up, testing and maintaining video gear, coordinating with Lighting and Audio teams as well as Project Managers, Equipment Check-in and Check-out on Current RMS. The Video Operator will assist with pre-event technical checks, troubleshoot minor equipment issues, and follow director or producer instructions throughout events. Collaboration with production staff, adherence to safety and equipment handling protocols, and maintaining organized workspaces are key aspects of the role.
Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Software such as Pixera, Resolume, VMix and Dante Candidates should possess skills in LED Screen programming Software such as Nova LCT and Brompton Knowledge in Projection Mapping and required equipment is beneficial Relevant experience in event production, live entertainment, or corporate AV setups is beneficial. Strong attention to detail, ability to follow technical directions, and effective communication with production teams are required. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules. Basic troubleshooting skills for video and AV equipment, and comfort working in fast-paced environments. Formal training in Pixera is an advantage Fluent in English
