Planning Engineer

Required: Civil Planning Engineer to work in contracting company- Abu Dhabi – UAE.

We at LAZOURDY is looking for a Planning Engineer to work with us. The rightful candidate must be from civil engineering background and handled similar project planning tasks related to civil engineering domain

• Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project Baseline Program, including work breakdown structures (WBS), activities, and milestones.

• Utilize project management software, Primavera P6, to create and update schedules.

• Prepare and update Project Weekly & Monthly progress reports, including S-curves, Gantt charts, and other visual aids.

• Conduct regular meetings with project teams to review progress and address scheduling issues.

• Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule and identify potential delays or deviations.

• Ensure that schedule is based on project execution strategy and schedule milestones are achievable

• Develop S Curve and Manpower histogram.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/ with 4 - 5 years’ experience in UAE.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.

• Experience: Proficiency in project management software, Primavera P6.

  
  

• Skills: ·Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• ·Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• ·Understands and applies engineering, procurement, and construction terminology, concepts, and relationships Develops and maintains critical path logic networks and bar charts applying this information ·

• Knowledge of cost control is an advantage   ·
