Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role located in Dubai. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications for building and infrastructure projects. Daily tasks include coordinating with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors, monitoring construction progress, and ensuring compliance with project plans, safety regulations, and relevant codes. The role involves performing site inspections, resolving technical issues, supporting planning and scheduling activities, and contributing to cost and resource optimization. The Civil Engineer will also prepare reports, maintain documentation, and support quality control and risk management throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to develop and review structural and infrastructure plans. Experience working as Civil Engineers on construction projects, including coordination with multidisciplinary teams and site supervision. Skills in Planning and project coordination, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking. Knowledge of Stormwater Management and related infrastructure systems, with capability to design and assess drainage solutions. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; professional certification or membership in an engineering body is an advantage. Familiarity with local building codes, UAE regulations, and industry standards, as well as common engineering and CAD software (e.g., Auto CAD, Civil 3D, Revit). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site and manage multiple tasks effectively. Previous experience in Dubai or the GCC construction sector is preferred; ability to adapt to diverse project requirements and multicultural teams.
