Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, assembly, and refurbishment of rolling mill rolls and roll shop equipment.

  • Carry out roll changing, grinding coordination, bearing assembly/disassembly, and roll inspection.

  • Ensure rolls are prepared and available to meet production schedules.

  • Inspect rolls for wear, cracks, and defects, and recommend repair or replacement.

  • Coordinate with the rolling mill, maintenance, and production teams to minimize downtime.

  • Maintain roll shop records and follow all safety and quality procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in a roll shop or precision machining environment.
  • Proven expertise in operating and maintaining CNC grinding machines, lathes, and balancing equipment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and technical documentation.
