Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Conduct land and topographic surveys using surveying instruments and GPS equipment.

2. Measure and record land boundaries, elevations, and site features accurately.

3. Prepare survey maps, reports, sketches, and legal descriptions.

4. Interpret construction plans, site layouts, and engineering drawings.

5. Establish control points and verify project alignment and dimensions.

6. Ensure survey data complies with project specifications, regulations, and industry standards.

7. Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and project managers.

8. Operate and maintain surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS receivers, and levels.

9. Identify and resolve discrepancies in survey data and site measurements.

10. Support construction projects by providing accurate layout and staking services.

11. Maintain accurate records of survey data and field notes.

12. Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures during field operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Proficient in operating GPS/GNSS survey equipment for precise positioning and data collection.

2. Experienced in using Total Station instruments for boundary, topographic, and construction layout surveys.

3. Skilled in conducting drone (UAV) surveys for aerial mapping, photogrammetry, and site inspections.

4. Able to process and analyze survey data using industry-standard surveying and CAD software.

5. Knowledgeable in equipment calibration, field data collection, and quality control procedures.
