Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for a Full Stack Developer based in Dubai, with a mix of on-site work and work-from-home flexibility. The Full Stack Developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications, working across both front-end and back-end components to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing user interfaces, building and integrating APIs, managing databases, and ensuring responsive, accessible, and secure application experiences. The role involves collaborating with product and education-focused stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing performance. The developer will also contribute to code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of development practices. Qualifications Strong Full-Stack Development and Software Development skills, with experience building and deploying complete web applications. Proficiency in Front-End Development, including modern Java Script frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for responsive, accessible user interfaces. Experience in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, server-side frameworks, and database integration. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows. Ability to write clean, maintainable code and follow best practices for testing, security, and performance. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment. Effective communication skills and comfort collaborating with non-technical stakeholders in the education domain. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in edtech or education-related projects is a plus.
