Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Manage the complete personal loan lifecycle, from customer assessment to final loan disbursement.

  2. Analyze loan applications and evaluate customers' financial profiles, repayment capacity, and eligibility in accordance with bank credit policies.

  3. Calculate Debt Burden Ratio (DBR) and assess affordability and credit risk.

  4. Review, verify, and validate all customer documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with banking requirements.

  5. Identify missing documents, discrepancies, or potential risks before submission.

  6. Prepare and submit financing applications while maintaining high approval quality and minimizing rejections.

  7. Coordinate with credit, operations, underwriting, compliance, and approval departments to ensure efficient case progression.

  8. Monitor loan applications through every stage and proactively follow up until final approval and disbursement.

  9. Escalate delayed or exceptional cases through the appropriate banking channels to ensure timely resolution.

  10. Maintain strong professional relationships with banks, branch managers, relationship managers, credit analysts, operations teams, and key decision-makers across multiple UAE banks.

  11. Provide clients with professional guidance on personal loan products, eligibility criteria, documentation requirements, and financing solutions.

  12. Ensure full compliance with UAE banking regulations, internal bank policies, and company procedures.

  13. Maintain accurate records of customer files, communications, approvals, and supporting documentation.

  14. Identify operational improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce processing time, and improve approval rates.

  15. Work closely with the sales team to structure cases for maximum approval potential.

  16. Resolve customer inquiries and provide regular updates throughout the financing process.

  17. Maintain confidentiality of customer information and banking data at all times.

  18. Meet individual and company performance targets, including case completion, turnaround time, approval ratio, and customer satisfaction.

  19. Continuously stay updated on changes in UAE banking policies, lending criteria, and personal loan products across major banks.

  20. Support the development and strengthening of strategic banking partnerships to improve service quality and processing efficiency.

  21. Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail throughout every stage of the financing process.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are looking for a highly experienced and performance-driven Senior Banking Specialist with strong expertise in personal loans within the UAE banking sector. The ideal candidate should be capable of managing the full financing cycle, from credit assessment to final disbursement, while maintaining strong relationships with banks and delivering high-quality, compliant case submissions.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of banking experience in the UAE.

  • Prior experience with leading UAE banks is mandatory.

  • Strong specialization in personal loans / consumer lending.

  • Proven track record in one or more of the following roles:

    • Credit Analyst

    • Loan Processing Specialist

    • Banking Operations Officer

    • Relationship Manager (Personal Lending)

    • Business Development / Banking Partnerships

Technical Expertise

  • Strong understanding of personal loan underwriting processes.

  • In-depth knowledge of credit assessment, DBR calculation, and risk evaluation.

  • Familiarity with UAE Central Bank regulations and lending guidelines.

  • Ability to review and structure loan applications to maximize approval rates.

  • Strong understanding of bank documentation requirements and compliance standards.

  • Experience working with multiple UAE banks and their internal systems.
