Role Description The Architectural Engineering role at Golden Sand is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role involves developing architectural designs and engineering solutions for new builds, renovations, and mixed-use developments, from concept through detailed design. Daily responsibilities include preparing drawings and technical documentation, coordinating with structural, MEP, and interior design teams, and ensuring integration of architectural and engineering systems. The role requires reviewing project requirements, contributing to solution architecture, performing site visits, and supporting construction teams with clarifications and design adjustments. The Architectural Engineer will also collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients, participate in design reviews, and ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and sustainability guidelines.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, space planning, and detailing. Experience in Solution Architecture and Integration, ensuring cohesion between architectural, structural, and MEP systems. Effective Communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients. Proficiency with relevant design and BIM tools (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit, Sketch Up) and familiarity with local building codes and regulations. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architectural Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related field. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and solve technical and design challenges independently and in teams. Experience in the UAE or GCC construction market and knowledge of sustainable design practices are advantageous.
