Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare claims for variations, extensions of time, and other contractual entitlements.
- Analyze tender submissions, ensuring compliance with specifications and identifying potential discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit interim and final payment valuations, assessing work completed and certifying payments.
- Maintain accurate records of all cost-related documentation, including contracts, invoices, and payment certificates.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as MRICS, MCIOB, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in quantity surveying or cost estimation within the construction industry.
- Proven expertise in using cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Candy, Buildsoft) and BIM proficiency.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and relevant building regulations.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of local languages is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
