Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Cairo, Egypt. The Business Development Manager will identify and develop new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, and promote Blue Ocean’s training programs and solutions in the local and regional market. Responsibilities include managing the sales pipeline, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts to achieve revenue and growth targets. The role involves close collaboration with training, marketing, and operations teams to align client needs with appropriate learning solutions and ensure high-quality service delivery. The Business Development Manager will also monitor market trends, provide feedback on product offerings, and contribute to strategic planning and expansion initiatives.
Qualifications Strong skills in business development, B2B sales, and account management in the Training Industry Experience in lead generation, pipeline management, and contract negotiation within training, education, or professional services sectors. Ability to conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and identify opportunities for growth in corporate training and development. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple organizational levels. Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications, and comfort working with data and sales reports. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field; a background in training, consulting, or supply chain is an advantage. Proven ability to work independently, meet targets, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Fluency in English; Arabic language skills and familiarity with the Egyptian and regional market are highly beneficial.
