Roles & Responsibilities
- Expertly operate and maintain the SM 74 5-color printing press, ensuring optimal performance and high-quality output for each job.
- Precisely calibrate and adjust the press for color registration, ink density, and varnish application to meet strict project specifications.
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot mechanical or operational issues, performing minor repairs and coordinating with maintenance for complex problems to minimize downtime.
- Manage ink and varnish levels, ensuring accurate mixing and replenishment to maintain consistent color fidelity and coverage.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training in printing is a significant advantage.
- Hold a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience operating offset printing presses, with specific expertise on SM 74 models.
- Demonstrate proficiency in operating 5-color presses with inline varnish units.
- Exhibit strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on printing equipment.
