Role Description The HVAC Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This position is responsible for managing HVAC projects from concept to completion, including design review, technical calculations, equipment selection, and preparation of drawings and documentation. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, supervising installation and commissioning activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications. The role involves monitoring project timelines and budgets, resolving technical issues on site, and supporting maintenance and repair activities to ensure optimal system performance. The HVAC Project Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement by reviewing project outcomes and proposing enhancements to design and execution processes. Qualifications Strong foundation in HVAC Engineering and practical HVAC knowledge, with experience in building services or MEP projects. Proficiency in HVAC Design, including load calculations, equipment sizing, layout development, and familiarity with relevant standards and codes. Ability to use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for preparing and reviewing HVAC drawings, schematics, and coordination layouts. Experience in Maintenance & Repair of HVAC systems, including troubleshooting, performance optimization, and preventive maintenance planning. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in HVAC and MEP works. Knowledge of fire protection, electrical, and plumbing interfaces within integrated MEP projects is an advantage. Strong project management, communication, and coordination skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management practices and commitment to safety, compliance, and customer-focused service delivery.
