Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Accountant with manufacturing industry experience to manage payables, month-end accounting, inventory accounting, and UAE VAT support. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and excellent Excel skills.
Key Responsibilities
Handle accounts payable, including invoicing, payments, and supplier reconciliations
Perform month-end closing activities, including posting accruals and prepayments
Conduct GL reconciliations and GL monitoring to ensure accuracy and completeness of accounts
Review VAT transactions and support VAT return preparation in compliance with UAE VAT regulations
Manage inventory accounting, including standard cost updates in D365
Perform periodic stock counts, reconcile variances, and monitor slow-moving/obsolete inventory
Identify inventory risks and recommend provisions where required
Support internal and external audits, including preparation of schedules and explanations
Provide support for ICV (In-Country Value) documentation and reviews
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Strong experience in accounts payable, GL accounting, inventory accounting, and month-end close Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Working knowledge of UAE VAT Excellent Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Experience with UAE-based Manufacturing or industrial companies Audit and compliance support experience
