Roles & Responsibilities

General Description: BMS Commissioning Engineer with Knowledge of hands on commissioning for DDC, FCU, VAV, MODBUS and MBUS Loops. With 3rd Party integration.

Detailed Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BMS (Building Management System) Commissioning Engineer to join our team. The role involves commissioning, testing, and handing over BMS systems in commercial, industrial, and residential projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, BMS hardware and software, and field instrumentation, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

System Commissioning:

• Execute commissioning of BMS systems (controllers, sensors, field devices, etc.)

• Test and verify proper operation of HVAC equipment and system sequences.

• Ensure all points are checked, calibrated, and functioning as per design.

Project Coordination:

• Collaborate with project managers, Project engineers, and subcontractors to ensure successful system integration.

• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and IT teams during installation and commissioning phases.

Programming & Configuration:

• Upload/download control logic to field controllers.

• Modify and fine-tune control strategies based on site conditions or client feedback.

• Program and configure BMS software platforms (e.g., Siemens Desigo, Xworks, ABT or Equivalent)

Testing & Documentation:

• Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).

• Prepare t&C reports.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.

Client Handover & Support:

• Demonstrate system functionality to clients and facilities teams.

• Troubleshoot and resolve BMS-related issues during the defect liability period.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in BMS commissioning. Hands on Experience the below:

• Degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or a related engineering field. Experience in BMS or building automation systems.

  
  

• Familiarity with Siemens Software such as Desigo CC, Xworks, ABT or equivalent.

  
  

• Familiarity with common BMS platforms and communication protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus).

  
  

• Basic understanding of HVAC systems and control sequences.

  
  

• Strong technical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

  
  

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

  
  

• Willingness to travel to project sites.

  
  

• UAE Driving License is an added advantage
