Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a hands-on Data Center Engineer to support and maintain critical IT infrastructure at our facility. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day operational health of servers, network hardware, and physical data center systems, ensuring maximum uptime and rapid resolution of incidents.
Key Responsibilities
Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage, and networking equipment (racking/stacking, cabling, hardware swaps)
Monitor data center environment (power, cooling, physical security) and escalate anomalies
Conduct routine hardware diagnostics, break-fix support, and part replacements (disks, RAM, PSUs, NICs)
Support remote hands requests from global NOC/engineering teams
Maintain accurate asset inventory and documentation of all equipment changes
Follow strict change management, safety, and security procedures within the facility
Respond to and resolve incidents within defined SLAs
Coordinate with vendors for equipment delivery, RMA, and on-site repairs
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
[2–5] years of hands-on experience in a data center, NOC, or IT infrastructure environment
Working knowledge of server hardware (Dell/HPE/Lenovo), basic networking (switches, patch panels, cabling standards)
Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, or similar)
Comfortable with physical work: lifting equipment, working in server rooms, rotating shifts
Basic Linux/Windows server troubleshooting a plus
Relevant certifications (CompTIA Server+, Network+, or vendor-specific) preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict operational procedures
English proficiency [add local language requirement if applicable, e.g. Arabic, English]
