Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grader Operator to safely operate heavy equipment for excavation, trenching, grading, loading, and site preparation on activities. The ideal candidate will have experience working on construction, infrastructure, or earthworks projects and be committed to maintaining high safety and productivity standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a Boom Loader safely and efficiently according to project requirements.

• Perform excavation, trenching, backfilling, grading, and material loading tasks.

• Conduct daily pre-start inspections and perform basic maintenance checks on the equipment.

• Report equipment faults, damage, or maintenance requirements promptly.

• Read and follow site plans, drawings, and supervisor instructions.

• Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and site regulations.

• Work closely with site supervisors, engineers, and ground personnel.

• Maintain the boom loader in a clean and serviceable condition.

• Identify and avoid underground utilities and other site hazards.

• Complete daily equipment and work activity reports as required.

  
  

Requirements

• Valid Heavy Equipment Operator License or Certification (as required by local regulations).

• Proven experience operating a Boom Loader.

• Good understanding of excavation techniques and construction site safety.

• Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.

• Physically fit and able to work in varying weather conditions.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Experience working on road, infrastructure, or civil construction projects.

2. Knowledge of GPS and machine control systems is an advantage.

3. Valid First Aid Certification is preferred.

4. Clean driving record and experience operating additional heavy equipment are beneficial.
