About the Role
Univer is looking for an ambitious Teacher Recruitment & School Outreach Intern to help connect teachers and education professionals with flexible online master’s and doctorate programmes offered in collaboration with up Grad. This is not a desk-based administrative internship: you will research schools, speak with decision-makers, arrange on-campus information sessions, support campaigns, engage prospective students, and follow up on real recruitment opportunities.
The intern will help identify and engage teachers, school leaders, counsellors, and education professionals who are interested in advancing their qualifications while continuing to work.
This is a hands-on outreach and recruitment role. The successful candidate will research schools, establish relationships with relevant contacts, arrange on-campus information sessions, support digital campaigns, and follow up with prospective students until they are ready to speak with an admissions adviser or begin an application.
The role is suitable for an ambitious recent graduate or early-career professional who wants practical experience in business development, education recruitment, digital campaigns, and partnership building.
Key Responsibilities
School Outreach and Relationship Development Identify schools with strong potential for teacher and staff engagement. Contact school principals, HR teams, professional-development coordinators, department heads, and other relevant decision-makers. Introduce Univer and the online postgraduate programmes offered in collaboration with up Grad. Secure approval to communicate programme opportunities to teachers and school employees. Develop and maintain positive relationships with participating schools. School Camp Visits Arrange School Camp visits where Univer and up Grad representatives can meet interested teachers at their schools. Coordinate suitable dates, venues, expected attendance, and promotional requirements with each school. Help schools circulate invitations and programme information before each visit. Support the delivery of presentations, information sessions, and individual consultations. Record participant details, areas of interest, and agreed follow-up actions. Teacher Lead Generation and Follow-UpEngage teachers and education professionals through telephone calls, email, Whats App, Linked In, events, referrals, and digital campaigns. Understand each prospective student’s interests, preferred subject, qualification level, budget considerations, and intended study timeline. Share accurate initial information about relevant programmes and the next steps. Follow up consistently with interested teachers and keep them engaged throughout the decision-making process. Schedule qualified prospects for consultations with Univer or up Grad admissions representatives. Support prospects in completing enquiry forms, attending consultations, and beginning their applications. Re-engage teachers who previously expressed interest but did not proceed. Research and Database Development Research school websites, directories, Linked In, and other legitimate public sources to identify relevant school contacts. Find publicly available professional contact details for school leaders, HR representatives, coordinators, and teachers. Build and regularly update a structured database of schools and contacts. Segment schools and prospects by location, curriculum, level of interest, programme preference, and recruitment potential. Ensure that personal information is collected, stored, and used responsibly and in accordance with applicable privacy requirements. Campaign Support Help plan and run targeted campaigns for teachers and other education professionals. Prepare or adapt outreach messages, email campaigns, Whats App messages, social media content, and event invitations. Coordinate school-specific campaigns before each School Camp visit. Track responses, enquiries, registrations, attendance, consultations, applications, and enrolments. Test different messages and outreach channels to identify which approaches generate the strongest engagement. Provide feedback on common questions, objections, and programme interests raised by teachers. Reporting and Coordination Maintain accurate and timely records of all school and prospect interactions in the designated CRM or tracking system. Prepare weekly updates covering schools contacted, meetings arranged, School Camps confirmed, leads generated, and follow-ups completed. Coordinate closely with Univer and up Grad representatives to ensure that qualified prospects receive timely support. Share insights that can improve programme positioning, campaign performance, and teacher conversion.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who:Holds, or is completing, a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, education, communications, or a related field. Is confident contacting schools and starting conversations with new people. Has strong communication and relationship-building skills. Can communicate professionally in English; Arabic is highly desirable. Is comfortable using telephone, email, Whats App, Linked In, spreadsheets, and online research tools. Is organised and capable of managing multiple schools, prospects, visits, and follow-up tasks. Demonstrates initiative, persistence, and a genuine interest in achieving measurable results. Can work independently while coordinating effectively with a wider team. Is comfortable visiting schools and attending meetings or information sessions. Is interested in education, professional development, business development, or student recruitment. Previous internship or work experience in school outreach, educational services, telesales, lead generation, events, digital marketing, or customer-facing roles would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Success Measures
Performance will be assessed using indicators such as:Number of qualified schools researched and added to the database. Number of relevant school decision-makers contacted. Number of school meetings and School Camp visits secured. Number of teachers registered for and attending information sessions. Number of qualified teacher leads generated. Speed and consistency of prospect follow-up. Number of consultations, applications, and enrolments resulting from the intern’s outreach. Accuracy and completeness of CRM and campaign records.
What the Intern Will Gain
Practical experience in education recruitment and business development. Direct exposure to schools, teachers, and international postgraduate education. Experience running outreach and lead-generation campaigns. Training in prospect qualification, CRM management, follow-up, and conversion. Opportunities to participate in school visits and recruitment activities. The potential to progress into a longer-term business development or student recruitment role based on performance.
