Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize complex PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages, to enhance database performance and functionality.
• Lead the architectural design and implementation of database solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve intricate database issues, performance bottlenecks, and data integrity problems with advanced debugging techniques.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing within the team.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Possesses a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Demonstrates 7+ years of progressive experience in Oracle database development and administration.

• Holds Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Professional or equivalent certification.

• Has proven expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and advanced SQL concepts.

Skills

Primary technical and functional skills • Strong Oracle Database and PL/SQL development expertise.

• Advanced SQL query writing and optimization.

• Experience in ETL development and data migration.

• Performance tuning using Oracle tools.

• Database design, data modelling, and normalization.

• Understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.

· Experience working on regulatory reporting, risk, compliance, financial services, or SupTech initiatives.

· Experience handling large-scale datasets and complex data transformations.

· Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles.

· Exposure to banking or financial regulatory environments
