Roles & Responsibilities

Your job will include the following responsibilities

  • Conduct land and site surveys to establish property boundaries, levels, and reference points.

  • Perform setting out of buildings, roads, utilities, and other construction works as per approved drawings.

  • Verify site dimensions, coordinates, and elevations before and during construction.

  • Operate and maintain surveying equipment such as Total Station, GPS, Auto Level, and Theodolite.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate survey records, field notes, reports, and as-built drawings.

  • Coordinate with project engineers and site teams to ensure accurate execution of construction activities.

  • Monitor and verify alignment, levels, and dimensions throughout the construction process.

  • Identify and report any discrepancies between site conditions and project drawings.

  • Assist in quantity measurements and progress surveys when required.

  • Ensure all surveying activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

  • Establish and protect survey control points and benchmarks throughout the project.

  • Liaise with consultants, clients, and government authorities regarding survey-related matters when required.


Desired Candidate Profile

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Land Surveyor, with at least 5 years of UAE/GCC experience on building and infrastructure projects.

  • Proven experience in setting out for high-rise buildings, villas, commercial, and civil construction projects.

  • Strong proficiency in operating surveying instruments such as Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto Level, Digital Level, Theodolite, and Laser Level.

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, survey plans, shop drawings, and specifications.

  • Good knowledge of survey calculations, coordinates, levels, benchmarks, traversing, and as-built surveys.

  • Experience in preparing survey reports, field notes, as-built drawings, quantity measurements, and project documentation.

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other surveying software is preferred.

  • Sound understanding of UAE construction standards, project specifications, quality requirements, and HSE regulations.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to identify and resolve survey discrepancies.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

  • Proven leadership ability to supervise junior surveyors and survey assistants.

  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines.
