Role Description The Senior Vice President – Technology will provide strategic leadership for technology across the Africa & Colombia Region, ensuring systems and tools effectively support program delivery, operations, and organizational growth. This part-time hybrid role is based in Dubai, with a combination of in-office work and flexible work-from-home arrangements. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining and overseeing regional IT strategy, aligning technology initiatives with organizational objectives, and guiding digital transformation efforts. The role will oversee key technology projects, manage vendor relationships, and ensure robust cybersecurity, data protection, and infrastructure reliability. The Senior Vice President – Technology will collaborate closely with regional and country leadership, program teams, and global stakeholders to drive innovation, optimize technology investments, and build capacity in local IT teams. Qualifications Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess technology performance, and inform evidence-based decision-making. Demonstrated expertise in Information Technology, including infrastructure, systems integration, cybersecurity, and cloud-based solutions. Proven experience in IT Strategy, with the ability to align technology roadmaps to organizational goals and regional needs. Advanced Project Management capabilities to lead complex, multi-country technology initiatives from planning through implementation. Strategic Planning experience, particularly in shaping long-term digital transformation and capacity-building within mission-driven organizations. Significant leadership experience at senior or executive level, ideally within NGOs, international development, or global organizations. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across cultures and disciplines. Track record of managing budgets, vendors, and contracts related to technology and digital services. Relevant academic background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CISSP) are an advantage.
