Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Butcher role based in Abu Dhabi. The Butcher will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing meat, poultry, and seafood according to company standards and customer specifications. Daily tasks include operating cutting and processing equipment, portioning products, packaging and labeling items, and maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic work area. The role also involves checking product quality, rotating stock, and following food safety and storage guidelines. The Butcher will interact with customers, respond to special requests, and support the team to ensure smooth operations and excellent service.
Qualifications

Hands-on experience in butchery and meat processing, including cutting, trimming, and portioning. Knowledge of handling poultry and seafood, with attention to hygiene, safety, and proper storage. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and handle customer requests professionally. Understanding of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and workplace safety practices. Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, stand for extended periods, and handle physically demanding tasks. Previous experience in a butcher shop, supermarket, or food service environment is preferred. Basic numeracy for weighing, pricing, and portion control, and ability to follow written instructions and procedures. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
