  • Determine the most effective repair solution (retubing, partial renewal, plugging, refractory repair, pressure part fabrication, etc.) and prepare a clear, costed work scope with material take-off, manpower plan and timeline.

  • Prepare and submit technical proposals, method statements, risk assessments and repair procedures in line with class society (DNV/ABS/LR), client and HSE requirements.

  • Independently lead the site execution team - supervisors, boiler makers, welders, fitters and subcontractors - ensuring quality of workmanship, welding/NDT compliance and adherence to schedule.

  • Plan and control project cost: track manpower, materials, consumables and subcontract spend against the estimate, control variations and protect project margin.

  • Prepare and maintain all project documentation: internal job orders, daily progress reports, inspection/measurement records, NDT and hydrotest reports, variation orders and final service/completion reports for client and class.

  • Coordinate with Sales & Estimation on scope clarifications and variation pricing and with Purchase on timely material and consumable availability.

  • Attend joint inspections with client representatives, class surveyors and port/refinery authorities; close out punch lists and secure final acceptance.

  • Enforce HSE compliance at site, including confined space entry, hot work permits and toolbox talks.

  • Support emergency/breakdown call-outs and ship repair mobilizations at short notice.

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD (preparation of repair sketches and as-built drawings) is an added advantage.

  • Familiarity with class society rules and marine/industrial HSE standards.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) for reporting and cost tracking; strong written and spoken English.
