Job title: Backend Developer — Middleware & Data Services Company: Info Labs Global Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (on-site) Employment type: Contract / Project-Based engagement Eligibility: Candidates must already be residing in the UAE with a valid residence visa About the role You'll build the middleware that sits between the building systems and the 3D twin — the APIs, services, and business logic that keep everything in sync and auditable. What you'll do Develop backend services and REST/Web Socket APIs consumed by the Unreal client and dashboards Implement business logic for alarms, workflows, work orders, user roles, and audit trails Design and maintain relational and time-series database schemas Build message-driven pipelines for high-frequency telemetry Implement authentication, authorisation, and API security Write tests, participate in code review, and support deployment and troubleshooting What you'll bring4+ years backend development in Python, . NET, or Node.js Strong database skills (Postgre SQL/SQL Server) and familiarity with time-series stores (Influx DB, Timescale DB) Experience with message brokers (MQTT, Kafka, Rabbit MQ) and real-time data delivery Solid API design practice and understanding of performance under sustained load Docker and Git as everyday tools Nice to have IoT platform or SCADA backend experience Experience serving data to a real-time 3D or game-engine client Location & engagement Based in Dubai, UAE — on-site at Info Labs Global and at the client facility as the project requires Project-based engagement for the duration of the Digital Twin program, with extension subject to project pipeline Applicants must currently be in the UAE with a valid residence visa.
