Role Description The Site Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities and ensuring that project specifications are met. The Site Engineer will monitor site operations, coordinate with civil engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders, and verify that structural works align with approved drawings and standards. The role includes supervising quality control measures, inspecting materials and workmanship, and maintaining detailed site records and reports. The Site Engineer will also address technical issues, support adherence to safety regulations, and communicate progress and challenges to project management.
Qualifications

Strong on-site supervision skills, with experience managing daily construction activities and coordinating field teams. Effective communication skills to collaborate with civil engineers, contractors, clients, and regulatory authorities. Knowledge of quality control practices, including inspection of materials, workmanship, and compliance with standards. Background in structural engineering or civil engineering, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Familiarity with government tender projects, local building codes, and safety regulations is an advantage. Proficiency in basic project documentation, site reporting, and use of common construction software or tools. Ability to work independently, make informed decisions on-site, and adapt to changing project requirements.
