Role Description The Owner role at Lup is a full-time, on-site position based in Jakarta, responsible for leading the agency’s vision, strategy, and operations. Day-to-day activities include overseeing client relationships, guiding brand and creative strategies, and ensuring high-quality delivery across all projects. The Owner will manage business development, including identifying new opportunities, negotiating contracts, and representing the agency in industry networks and events. The role also involves building and mentoring a multidisciplinary team, monitoring financial performance, and implementing efficient processes to support sustainable growth and innovation.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in leading or managing a creative agency, brand studio, or related business. Strong background in brand strategy, marketing, and creative direction, with a portfolio of impactful work. Proficiency in client management, including pitching, negotiation, and long-term relationship building. Solid business acumen, including budgeting, financial oversight, and operational planning. Ability to recruit, lead, and mentor creative and account teams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is highly beneficial. Comfort with digital tools, social media platforms, and contemporary marketing practices. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
